the process
1 Consultation & wardrobe fitting
Before your session, you’re invited to the studio for a personalized consultation and wardrobe fitting. Together, we’ll discuss your vision, explore the studio wardrobe, fabrics, backdrops, and styling options, and start planning the looks for your photoshoot.
If you’re unable to visit the studio beforehand, your consultation can also be done virtually, and we’ll finalize your wardrobe selections when you arrive for your session.
2 Photoshoot Day
On your special day, arrive at the studio at your appointed time. If professional hair and makeup is part of your session, you’ll be pampered by our talented artist before we finalize your wardrobe selection. Choose from our curated collection of studio outfits. Don't worry if it's your first session - our goal is to make you feel comfortable, beautiful, confident, and empowered. You'll receive guidance on posing for stunning shots.
3 Viewing & Ordering
After your session, if time allows, we can sit down together in the studio to review your images and choose your favorites for professional retouching, and explore beautiful wall art options for your home. If you prefer, you can make your selections later from your private online gallery at home. Once you’ve made your selections, my professional retoucher will begin hand-editing your images.
4 final images & wall art
Your carefully retouched images will be delivered through a private online gallery.
I also partner with a professional fine-art printing and framing studio, offering a beautiful selection of frames, finishes, and glass options. Wall art is included in select collections and can also be ordered separately to create a timeless piece for your home.

FAQ
How far in advance should we book?
It’s never too early to schedule your photoshoot. Sometimes we can accommodate last minute requests, but we recommend a 6-8 week notice. If you would like a weekend appointment it is important to book early as Saturdays are booked fast
Where is your studio located?
Conveniently located in San Diego near Miramar Rd with easy parking directly in front of the studio.

DO YOU PROVIDE DRESSES/FABRICS/WRAPS?
Yes. Our studio wardrobe includes everything from soft, romantic gowns to dramatic couture-inspired and editorial looks.
CAN MY PARTNER OR MY CHILD BE IN THE PICTURES?
Absolutely! The father of your child is welcome and encouraged to join. If you are bringing your child or children, please bring someone to help keep them occupied.
HOW DO I PREPARE FOR THE SESSION?
Try not to wear tight underwear and clothing on the day of the session to prevent marks on your skin. Get a manicure and a pedicure a day or two in advance.
Skin Preparation (Start 3-7 Days Before Hydrate: Keep your skin looking its best by drinking
plenty of water in the days leading up to your session.
Hydrated skin has a natural, healthy glow. • Moisturize: Regularly moisturize your skin, focusing on areas like your belly, hands, and feet. This will ensure your skin looks soft and luminous in your
photos. : Avoid Trying New Skincare Products: Stick to your usual routine to prevent any unexpected skin reactions. We recommend avoiding new products
just before your session.
Gentle Exfoliation: Two to three days before your shoot, gently exfoliate your skin to create a smooth
canvas. This helps makeup apply seamlessly.
WHAT SHOULD I bring FOR MY MATERNITY SESSION?
While we provide everything you need, here are a few items we
recommend bringing to personalize and enhance your experience:
• Personal Undergarments: we ask our clients to bring along a set of seamless nude underwear, bra should be strapless and the closest shade to your skin tone. Depending on the style of photos you would like we might need a set of simple black underwear or white lace underwear if you
would like it to be visible with some sheer dresses.
• A lip balm or powder for any light touch-ups during the
session.
DO I HAVE TO BE NUDE (FOR MATERNITY SESSIONS)?
Not at all. All of our maternity sessions are customized and tailored to the wants and needs of each client. Some clients prefer clean and simple artistic nude photographs and wraps, while others prefer to be fully clothed.
SHOULD I BE CONCERNED ABOUT EXTRA WEIGHT (CHIN, ARMS, THIGHS) AND STRETCH MARKS?
We want you to feel beautiful and relaxed during your photography experience as well as to treasure your final images. Complete professional retouching is included in your session and you don’t have to worry about any imperfections such as blemishes, stretch marks and certain body contours. We specialize in the most comprehensive and detailed editing and will enhance and transform the image into a stunning work of art.
I WOULD LIKE TO TAKE SIMILAR IMAGES/POSES THAT I SAW IN YOUR PORTFOLIO. CAN WE DO THAT?
Sure. You can pick your favorite lighting/backdrop set ups and poses from our portfolio and you are welcome to bring your own ideas as well.
WHAT IS THE TURNAROUND TIME?
You will be sent a private online gallery to choose your favorite images for retouching within 1 week after your shoot. it typically takes 3 weeks for the final images to be ready.
